Terms of Service

Acceptance and eligibility

By using Sensium, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

Service scope

Sensium provides educational coaching tools for blind-tasting practice. It does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice.

Account and acceptable use

• You are responsible for maintaining account credential security.
• Abuse, unauthorized access attempts, and automated misuse are prohibited.
• Sensium may suspend accounts that violate integrity and safety rules.
• You may not reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with service reliability or security controls.

Subscriptions, payments, and billing

• Premium access may be sold through Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or other authorized channels.
• Pricing, billing cadence, taxes, and currency are shown at checkout before purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the next billing renewal date.
• When billed through Apple or Google, their subscription billing terms and account controls apply.
• When billed directly on web, your checkout provider terms also apply to payment processing.

Refund policy

• App Store and Google Play purchases are governed by each platform's refund rules and self-service refund processes.
• For direct web purchases, charges are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where Sensium expressly grants a goodwill exception.
• To request a billing review, contact sensium.wine@hotmail.com with purchase details.
• Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the active paid term unless law requires otherwise.
• EU/UK consumers: by starting a digital subscription you agree to immediate access to digital content, which waives the standard 14-day cooling-off period under EU/UK distance selling rules once delivery has begun. Required-by-law refund rights remain unaffected.

Intellectual property

Sensium software, branding, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except limited rights needed for personal, lawful use of the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for high reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laurent Lefebvre is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, security abuse, or legal compliance requirements.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes should first be escalated to sensium.wine@hotmail.com for good-faith resolution.
